Omen, The (2006) IMDB rating: 5.40 Plot: When the Vatican observatory priest sees the appearance of a comet, the Church is sure that it confirms the eve of the Armageddon. Meanwhile, the USA President’s godson Robert Thorn is informed in the maternity in Rome by Father Spiletto that his wife Katherine has just lost her baby and she had troubles with her uterus and would not have another pregnancy. Spiletto suggests Robert that another just born child that lost her mother could be the substituted for his son, and Robert accepts the child and gives the name of Damien. Robert is promoted to ambassador in London after a tragic accident. When Damien’s nanny commits suicide in his birthday party, a substitute, Mrs. Baylock, comes to work and live with the family. Along the years, Katherine realizes that Damien is evil, while Robert is contacted by Father Brennan, who tells him that Damien is the son of devil. When the priest dies in a bizarre accident, the photographer Keith Jennings shows evidences to Robert that the boy is the Antichrist. They travel to the town of Megiddo to learn how the boy can be stopped.

Is it a good omen if a dove comes into ones home?
A dove came into our home. Our cats terroisted it but we saved it and set it free. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? This question considering bad omens with birds in ones home.

A dove is an ancient symbol of peace. Believing this, our belief is positively supported by mass conscious. We may feel good about it.

However, an omen is what we believe it is, and what we believe and think of often, will finally be created in this three-dimensional world.

Whatever is, was or will be has been created - we have no choice.
However, what we pull down into our three dimensional world, this is our choice, and we can make it a pleasure or a lesson!

We can choose the beneficial for all, like delicious fruits, the blue/blue sky returned; or we can create a lesson for us or all.

Same with all omens: if we believe in them as beneficial signs, they are beneficial.

Our belief is our power. Is it not worth to believe in the good? With the "100th monkey," we will finally recreate Paradise on earth!

What are the weight distribution rules for passengers on helicopters?
For example, does it matter where the heavier passengers sit?

You can download a pdf from the FAA called the Aircraft Weight and Balance Handbook: FAA-H-8083-1 for free.

The non-technical answer is: yes it does matter. Heavier passengers should be loaded in the center to allow for better control in flight and hover. The maximum weight has to do with the structural integrity of the helicopter and the amount of power available from the powerplant.

yes it matters the weight has to be evenly distributed according to the center of gravity(comnoly refered to as the C/G). If you are just a passenger this will make no sense to you.

Sure it matters. You want the chubs and chubbettes seated as close to the center of gravity as they can be.

The center of gravity is directly under the main rotor shaft. Assuming they are not the pilot…the closest passenger seat to that area rules.

Really depends on the helicopter. if it’s a 2 seater, you don’t have much choice do you? If it’s something like a Bell 204/5, 212/412 (the Huey), it really doesn’t make a difference.
Now if I were loading a very heavy object I would put it close to the CG (which in this case would be the back toward the Xmission and centered in the cargo compartment).
It’s a little hard (but not impossible) to get out of CG on a helicopter with just passengers.

you do your best to load evenly, if you do have a "heavy person" this person should sit as close to centerline as possible.
just so long as you are within your load parameters vs fuel and length of trip, you just load as evenly as possible.

Yes, it matters. Rotary wing aircraft (helicopters) are a bit more complicated for W&B (Weight and Balance) than fixed wing aircraft because, since the wing does rotate, lateral (side-to-side)W&B considerations become more critical. One way to ensure safety is, as previously noted, to keep heavier people/cargo close to the centerline of the aircraft as possible. Another is simply to be sure that items are ‘balanced out’.

Can anyone give me a short summary about the movie HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT?
My daughter wanted to see the movie HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT, Shes 10 years old but i don’t know if its such a good idea to let her see it. If someone could just give me a brief summary of the movie that would be great.

There is no sexuality or nudity in it. It is about a family that moves into a house to be closer to the hospital that is treating their son for cancer. The house turns out to be haunted. It is suppose to be based on a true story from the 70’s. There’s a few scenes that may be considered gory for a 10 year old, but as long as she knows it’s not real I think it would be fine. I found it to be incredibly boring, but I’m 21.

If you don’t like it just ignore it. The poster is probably just looking for a response and you’re not going to do anything about changing their views.

However, if the post is something that could be harmful (like a joke about rape or genocide) then report it. My view is anyone who has suffered something like this personally will be hurt by seeing it so it should be removed.
